So today Apple released a new lightning SD adapter for camera cards.

It has been widely reported that you can use the new adapter as well with an iPhone instead of only with an iPad.

But then I thought, I did that last week!! And I didn’t buy one for sure. Maybe it’s only because I have the iPhone 6s Plus.

And so I was thinking a bit more and thought, wait I do have the public beta running of iOS 9.2, could that be the difference?

So I borrowed my wife’s iPhone 5s with iOS 9.1 running and there it didn’t work. Then I updated it to iOS 9.2 and now it works.
