Today the IDC came out with a report that the Smartwatch market is imploding and no one buys anymore smart watches.

I’m really wondering where they get the information from, because when I try to order an Apple Watch, I still get a 3–4 weeks delivery delay.

They added a note about the availability of the Apple Watch:

Although the decline is significant, it is worth noting that 3Q15 was the first time Apple’s Watch had widespread retail availablity after a limited online launch. Meanwhile, the second generation Apple Watch was only available in the last two weeks of 3Q16.

So I do actually believe that we’ll see an increase in market share for the Apple Watch, which have been steady for the last few quarters.
